Internet expertise
This is a credit bearing module offered at undergraduate level only and takes place during the second semester.

The aim of Internet Expertise is to introduce you to the phenomenon of the Internet, including its most important social, political and economic effects. We examine the ways in which the Internet is changing the most important institutions and practices of the modern world. How, for example, has the World Wide Web changed the way political organisations and social movements are structured, act and present their ideas?

In this module you will also learn website creation skills by using the web-authoring tool Microsoft Frontpage.

Internet Expertise is a challenging undergraduate module. Computer literacy is essential and some experience of using the Web would be an advantage.
